VIDEO: Too Simple, or Simply Perfect? Clean & Simple Cards

Hey Friends! Fall is on its way and I’ve got some adorable foxes to share with you today. These adorable illustrations just begged to be colored and I was more than happy to oblige! Check out the video below to see how to color and create these fun cards.

I can’t resist a good Autumnal color palette, and the new release from The Rabbit Hole Designs really caught my attention. The clean, large illustrations are beautifully done and pair well with markers. I opted to go with Copic Markers, but any markers you might have on hand will work as well. Specifically, I chose to work with the Fall Foxes and Autumn is Calling stamp sets. *NOTE: there was a typo in the Autumn is calling stamp set that slipped by QA. But they have pulled the affected sets and have new ones on the way.

After I finished coloring all of the foxes, I felt like they were bold (and cute!) enough to stand on their own. They really didn’t need much else to complete a card, so I went the clean and simple route, adding a few fluttering leaves around each one. For these two, I added a little something special by popping them up on Action Wobblers!

I used the same basic premise for each card, but finished each one a little differently. This allowed me to put all the images I had colored to use, without having to come up with a completely new design for each one.

Aren’t they just adorable? I’m certainly ready for a little cooler temps now, and these little guys might have something to do with that!
