New Dies – Lots of Love & Lots of Love Background
Hello Friends! I just dropped two new dies into the store that I know you’re gonna love. The Lots of Love and Lots of Love Background dies were quite literally made for each other! And, when you purchase both, you’ll receive 10% off. The price will be automatically adjusted when both are added to your cart.
The Lots of Love die is a sentiment die with a generous scale, making it perfect for creating a focal point on a card. As the name states, the Lots of Love Background die is a background die of solid and outlined hearts. I’ve also included an extra strip of hearts that can be used as a border or an accent. Both are modern, a little quirky, and just plain fun! I created quite a few samples that I’ll be sharing over the next week or so and you’ll be surprised at just how versatile they are.
Check out that sentiment! I love how it becomes the main focus of my first card. The set contains “Love” in individual letters, as well as the “shadow”. Here I die cut it from several colors of cardstock for a fun rainbow effect. I paired it with the script “with” also included in the set, and added a banner from our Banner Trio die heat embossed with a sentiment from our Flora & Fauna 3 stamp set. I finished it off with three little hearts, also included in the set.
I matted the panel with a bit if glitter cardstock and matted that with a background of hearts cut in pink using the Lots of Love Background die. Clean and simple, but definitely not boring!
The next card really lets the Lots of Love Background die shine.
I am just in love with that fun background. I die cut several of the Lots of Love Background die from white and several different colors of cardstock. I popped the white one up using foam adhesive and adhered it to a panel die cut using our Gift Card Layers die. When you cut the Lots Of Love Background, you’ll also get several little hearts created by the open hearts in the die. I used those different colored hearts and inserted them back into the open areas of the background. So fun!
I had left over letters from cutting the “love” sentiment for the first card, so I used them to create another sentiment for this card. However, this time I opted to use the script “you” also included in Lots of Love. I cut it several times from different colors and stacked them with a slight offset.
Both of these cards came together quite quickly since cutting the pieces for one, left me with most of the pieces for the second one and then some. Thanks for stopping by, I hope that you’ve enjoyed today’s cards!
