VIDEO: Weathered Winter Bird Houses & Black Friday Sales

Hello friends! I hope everyone celebrating had a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving! Today really kicks the Christmas Season off into high gear and all of the best sales of the year. If you’re looking for a round up of some of my favorites, you can scroll to the bottom of this post for links.

Today really kicks the Christmas Season off into high gear and I’ve got a couple of fun tag/cards to share with you featuring our Bird House Die. In this video, I’m sharing out to create two weathered wood finishes on these festive little houses and a couple ideas on how to decorate them. I pulled several dies and products from some of my favorite companies and went to work. I have all of the featured supplies listed at the end of the post (grouped in categories).

I’ve focused on the coloring and assembly of the birdhouses as well as creating background panels to do your die cutting from. But there are also some other fun tips included, so be sure to check it out!

It really isn’t any secret that I have a thing for birds. So of course I had to add some cute little tenants to these houses. Today, I chose the Winter Birds Layering Dies from Honey Bee Stamps, and they really couldn’t look any more at home, don’t you think?
