VIDEO: Partial Die Cutting & Ink Blending

Ink Blending is always a fun and easy way to make a statement. Today’s cards feature two gorgeous blends along with another fun technique – partial die cutting. Be sure to check out the video to see how it’s done!

The first card features a blend of PURE Color Dye Inks in Gala Red, Sweet Nectar, and Queen Bee. I added a tiny bit of Wild Mango to soften the transition between Sweet Nectar and Queen Bee.

Both cards feature the Foliage Frame Die and Basic Labels stamp set from Wplus9 as well as the Lovely Layers Greenery Die from Honey Bee Stamps.

For the second card I used Ocean Drive, Lime Light, and Old Gold. I added just a touch of Siren Song at the very top to deepen it just a bit.

I hope you enjoyed today’s cards and video. Thanks for stoping by!

Love this idea, Dawn! Offsetting the die that little bit and lifting it up – so effective! Beautiful cards. This Greenery set is on its way to me right now, so I will have to give this technique a try. Thanks!
