Off The Edge Designs ft. NEW! Honey Bee Stamps

Hello friends! Today is for the birds. Literally.

I hope you’ve got a beverage and are ready to explore some of the new Lovely Layers series from Honey Bee. In today’s video I give you the run down some of my favorites from the Simply Spring Release. I’ve gone in depth on how to assemble the dies, provide a few tips, and share 4 cards!

Like I mentioned, I created 4 cards with some of the new products (everything is linked at the end of this post) – Lovely Layers Spring Birds, LL Spring Greenery, LL Dogwood, and LL Cherry Blossom. I paired them with the Wplus9 Ironworks Background Die for all of the cards. NOTE: the Ironworks Die sold out shortly after the video went live. It has been re-ordered though. Click “notify me” to be emailed as soon as it arrives.

That blue bird in flight is just breathtaking. I love everything about it, and it pairs beautifully with the LL Spring Greenery die. For the sentiment, I used the Daisy Layers Bouquet. This set was also just released and I will be using it more coming up soon. So stay tuned for that.

By now, most of you know that I like to piggy back my designs to get more done in one crafty session. This next card was incredibly quick since I already had the design pretty much figured out, a few tweaks was all that was needed to create it. I swapped out the blue bird for the chickadee (LL Winter Birds).

Another showstopper in this release is the LL Dogwood and the LL Cherry Blossom dies.

This one turned out to be my favorite card of the bunch. The monochromatic color scheme in shades of green with those crisp pops of black and white really is stunning.

The level of detail embossed into each layer of these dies really is incredible. I’ll have more cards featuring both of these dies coming soon, don’t you worry. For the sentiment, again, I turned to the Daisy Layer Bouquet.

Finally, I created another card using the same basic design. This time, I chose Barely Peach as my base color and swapped the Chickadee for the Robin from the LL Spring Birds die. This time, I used the Garden Bouquet stamp set and die for the sentiment. I finished both cards off with some the new Pastel Pearls from Honey Bee as well.

I hope that you enjoyed today’s cards, and appreciate you stopping in. I hope you have a wonderfully creative weekend!

These are my favourite cards you have created so far, although i love all your designs. I’m so disappointed that incan no longer purchase the Ironworks background die. Any chance you would or could reissue the design and release through Honey Bee stamps? I regularly check ebay just incase someone is “destashing” it. If it’s possible please consider it, it’s such an elegant design, gorgeous! Thanks for your inspiring creations
