Back To Basics: Just Stamps – Perfect For Card Sets

Hello Everyone! Today, we’re taking it back to the basics. Simple stamping. These cards are quick and easy, minimal on supplies, and perfect candidates for mass production. For demonstration purposes, I went with a feminine and a masculine version. All of the supplies used in today’s project are listed at the end of this post.

Simple, but striking, right? I pulled out an older set – No One Else – for that big bold “THANK YOU”. I do really love that set and need to pull it out more often. I stamped it in Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink. The rest of the sentiment comes from our newly released Wild Flowers, stamped in Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide. I used the floral images from Wild Flowers as well, stamped in Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, and Bundled Sage. And done.

Next up, a more masculine version.

I love how this still has a more masculine or neutral feel to it, even though it uses the same flowers. This time I went with a color palette of Uncharted Mariner, Speckled Egg, and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide inks. I gave the inks time to dry and then came in and heat embossed the “friend” sentiment from the Just Breathe stamp set in white. I love the clean and graphic look of both of the these cards. Stamping the sub-sentiments directly over the main sentiment also gives these both a modern edge.

Like I mentioned at eh beginning of this post, these would make great card sets. You could create a half dozen or so in different color palettes. How fun would that be!

I hope you enjoyed! As always, thanks for stopping by.
