VIDEO: No-Line Watercolor Roses & Calla Lilies

I’ve got a gorgeous no-line watercolor card to share today, and it has a video! Whaaaat???? I know, I know, it’s been a while. But I promised I’d get the YouTube Channel back up and running.

I pulled out the Modern Roses and Modern Calla Lilies to create this stunning large bouquet. If you are intimidated by large florals, these sets are perfect for getting your feet wet. You can stamp all of the images out individually and watercolor or color them separately, and then only use the pieces you’re happy with. No worries about “messing up” halfway through, or worse yet, at the very end.

You can watch the video below to see how I approach it. I kept it rather simple. For most images I used 1-2 colors and didn’t pay any attention to light direction and such.

I kept the background very simple, using the 5×7 Layers Die to emboss vs. cut. And chose the Honey Bee Stamps Miss You Big Time stamp and die for the sentiment. The large bold sentiments in this set compliment the large bouquet perfectly!
