VIDEO: Fresh Picked w/Spellbinders: Macro Scene Cards

Hello friends! I hope your New Year is off to a great start and that you had a wonderful Holiday Season. I had some time to reorganize, prioritize, and even relax. I am super excited for whatever 2024 has in store!

I am kicking off the new year with some brand new products from Spellbinders that I have completely fallen in love with!

There really is a lot more than meets the eye with this collection. Make sure to watch the video for all of the details on creating these gorgeous cards. Here are some close up shots of each card.

I couldn’t help but pull out some older Honey Bee Stamps products to pair with these new Spellbinders dies. The bee included in the Lovely Layers Bugs set looks so sweet paired with the Fresh Picked Poppies and Buttercups.

For the background, I used the January 3D Embossing Folder of the Month from Spellbinders. The large whimsical florals are beautiful on their own, but also create a great backdrop for the large floral dies.

If you’ve never checked out the Spellbinders Clubs, I highly recommend that you do. They have several different clubs to choose from – Small Die Of the Month, Large Die of the Month, Stencil of the Month, etc. I chose to do the 3D Embossing Folder Club, but after seeing the rest of the products for January…I’m having serious FOMO!

This is the only card that I swapped my background for the Columns Embossing folder, also from Spellbinders. I wanted something just a little less busy because I filled the entire card front with lots of colorful florals and a sweet little bird from Honey Bee’s Lovely Layers Spring Birds. The sentiment on this one is from the Be Still stamp set by Honey Bee as well.

For the last card, I just wanted to show how the littlest bit of shading can really soften the overall look of these otherwise modern florals. You could really change the whole vibe of these by varying the way you add color.
