Pinkfresh Studio December Release Blog Hop
Hello, and Welcome! Today we are hopping along with Pinkfresh Studio to celebrate the gorgeous new BetterPress Plates they’ve just released.
There are several new floral plates and coordinating dies in this release, but I immediately fell in love with this Floral Square Frame.
I wanted to use it just a little bit differently and create a trellis like pattern. I BetterPress-ed three squares, watercolored them and then die cut them using the coordinating die. I then repeated them in a diagonal pattern across the front of my card. I trimmed off the excess and and used those left over pieces to continue and fill in the rest of the pattern.
I chose one of the simpler bold sentiments from the Favorite Things Sentiments so that it wouldn’t get lost in the all over pattern. Finally, for that little “extra” something, I added a little sparkle to the flowers and berries of the design using the Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen in Crystal Clear.
