Honey Bee Stamps Sunkissed Summer YouTube Hop

Hello friends! I’m hopping along with Honey Bee Stamps today to celebrate their newest release – Sunkissed Summer!

This is such a great release y’all. I had the hardest time deciding where to start. I feel like I say that with every new release…but it’s true. Ultimately I decided to start with Kelly’s new set, Paradise Plumerias, and I’m so glad that I did. 😍

I started by watercoloring a background using the largest image from the set. I repeatedly stamped the image in Antique Linen to create a border, leaving the center open. I was originally going to use the open center for my sentiment. But once I finished, I just wasn’t in love with that idea anymore and decided use it in the background.

This panel made the perfect background for the new Lovely Layers: Beach Bound. That little camper van …sigh. SO good! After putting that little cutie together, I knew I needed to ground it somehow. The Bold Backgrounds: Plumeria was the perfect fit. I created a little cradle with the individual blooms to nestle the van into. LOVE!

To finish it off, I used a sentiment from the new Sunkissed Summer stamp set. This one is full of great summer sentiments in such a fun font.
