Wobble & Shake! Interactive Halloween Cards

In my previous post I shared a dark, moody, more sophisticated Halloween project. Today, we’re hitting the opposite end of the spectrum with some not so spooky cuties! Be sure to watch the video below to see how these came together!

I fell in love with the Spellbinders Gnome Drive Collection upon first sight! Not only are the images cute, but they are well thought out. The main die set includes a car and a fun little gnome. Then, there are 4 add-on die sets that take the series throughout the year. With Halloween approaching, I dove right in to the Gnome Drive Halloween add-ons. Here’s a look at the main die (Gnome Drive Holiday) paired with Gnome Drive Halloween.

How fun is that! I created my focal point and then decided to pop it up on an Action Wobble for a little interactivity. You can see it in action in the video above.

Now, if you’ve been here awhile, then you know I always take a look at those add-on die sets. They are usually packed with images that are incredibly versatile. You can mix them with other sets, use them as accents, or even use them as the main focal point.

For this card, I used the Gnome Drive Halloween dies as the focal point – sans Gnome. I turned the pumpkin lollipop into balloons and created another interactive card. The balloons are fun shakers, and the entire thing is popped onto an Action Wobble! So cute! I mixed in some pieces from the additional die sets to dress up my cat and ghost – you can get all of the details on those in the video.
