VIDEO: Detailed Ink Blending and Composition

Have you seen the newest addition to the Lovely Layers family at Honey Bee Stamps?

The Lovely Layers Strawberries are absolutely adorable and so much fun to work with! The only dilemma I had, was choosing which method I wanted to use to add color. Ultimately, I went with some detailed ink blending using Concord & 9th inks and the Rabbit Hole Designs Bitty Blender Brushes. For the strawberries, I started with white die cuts and ink blended all of the color. But for the leaves and tea pot, I started with colored cardstock and then ink blended in some shadows with a more targeted approach. You can watch the video below to see how it all came together.

Honey Bee has a lot of different container dies that you could pair these strawberries with. I opted for the Teapot and Cup die. I’ve had it for a bit and was excited to finally use it. I think it makes the sweetest little scene, don’t you?

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed today’s card!
