Pinkfresh “Magical Holiday” Release Blog Hop
Hello friends! It’s that time again…time for another fantastic release from Pinkfresh Studio. I am excited to not only be celebrating their “Magical Holiday” Release…but to be introducing new products featuring my designs – Deck The Halls! This gorgeous product suite includes washi tape, a stamp set, a coordinating die, and stencils to choose from.
Many of you know that in addition to illustration and crafting, I’m also an avid watercolorist. This has always been something that I’ve done purely for me and my enjoyment. When Kinnari approached me about incorporating my watercolor into their product line, I was initially a little hesitant and nervous. But ultimately decided to go for it!
I am so incredibly pleased with how these turned out! To create this gorgeous washi tape, I started by hand watercoloring all of the individual images and then digitally arranged all of the beautiful motifs included in the design.
Seeing them come together in the finished product, I was blown away with how well they translated and stayed true to the original watercolors.
For this card, I used the large wreath included in the washi tape and decided to pair it with the previously released Twist Pattern Press Plate. I knew the gold foil accents would mirror the gold foil details of the washi.
Likewise, I opted for the new Magical Holiday Press Plate for the sentiment. Although the design of this card is minimal and elegant, there is a little suprise.
I used the Twisted Pattern Die to create the “doors” of a gatefold card. The wreath is actually a butterfly closure that holds this gatefold card closed while hiding the interior sentiment.
